Mr. Dayan Ayivi, known as General, is driven by the conviction that “no one is poor – only in need.” This belief fuels his passion for creating opportunities that uplift individuals and transform communities. Inspired by H.E. John Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama’s philanthropy, he began supporting orphanages in 2019. His quiet acts of giving had a profound impact. To expand his reach, Mr. Dayan founded Damela Foundation, focusing on rural and neglected areas where hope is crucial. As a devoted husband and father of two, he embodies the values of love, care, and compassion that guide his foundation’s vision. With Damela Foundation, Mr. Dayan aims to make a larger impact, bringing hope and opportunities to those in need. His commitment to giving back reflects his compassionate nature and desire to create positive change, inspiring others to join his mission.
Rev. Dr. Joseph K. Baisie has served faithfully in ministry for over 30 years, raising generations in the Christian faith with love and integrity. A compassionate shepherd, he is known for his kindness – often supporting members in need, even paying school fees to ensure no one is left behind. His generosity goes beyond words; he has given countless personal items, and even cars, to support the work of ministry.
His close relationship with our founder, whom he nurtured in the faith, makes him a natural pillar of guidance and strength for Damela Foundation. As Patron, he embodies the heart of service, compassion, and generosity that define our mission.
